We provide Alzheimer’s and dementia care at home across Surrey, BC, so your loved one can stay where they feel safe and comfortable. Our patient-trained caregivers help with meals, routines and daily care, whether you need a few hours a week or ongoing support.
Families often tell us the same thing: their dad still knows his favourite chair but forgets when they last ate, or how their mom can talk about 1972 in detail but not this morning. That is how memory loss usually shows up; familiar things hold on while everyday routines get harder to manage alone. Home care fills the gaps without taking away from the day-to-day dignity that you promised them you’d give them.
When It May Be Time for Help at Home
Families usually call us when they notice a few of these:
- Missed or doubled medications
- Meals skipped, or the same meal eaten twice
- The stove left on, or doors left open
- Confusion or agitation that gets worse in the late afternoon
- A spouse or adult child who is exhausted from being on watch all day
- When there is an anxious feeling of not being there at night
If any of these sound familiar, a free consultation is a good place to talk it through.

Meals, Medication Reminders and Mobility Support
- Familiar meals cooked the way your loved one likes them
- Medication reminders at the right time each day
- Help moving safely around the home and gentle support with transfers
- Company for the quiet hours, so the day has shape and someone to share it with
Calming Late-Day Restlessness
Many people with dementia become unsettled as they repeat questions, begin pacing, and find the evening harder to manage. This is often called sundowning, and it is one of the most tiring parts of caring for someone at home. Our caregivers stay calm and unhurried, keep to your loved one’s usual routine, and offer quiet company or a short walk rather than correction. Care is available by the hour, in the evening and on weekends, when the hard hours tend to fall.
Overnight and 24-Hour Dementia Care
Night can be the hardest part, and that is why we provide overnight and 24-hour dementia care in Surrey with caregivers who understand wandering, restlessness and confusion after dark. That can mean someone awake through the night so you can sleep, or round-the-clock support at home when a family member can no longer manage alone.
Bonded, Insured, Trained Caregivers
Every caregiver is bonded, insured and trained in dementia care, including how to respond to repeated questions, reluctance and late-day restlessness. We also keep the same small team with your loved one wherever we can, because a familiar face matters more when memory is unreliable. Your care plan is built around their routines, health needs and preferences, so each day feels as normal as possible.

Questions Often Asked
Is there a minimum number of hours per visit?
Visit lengths depend on what your family needs, so it is best to talk it through with us. Some families start with a couple of hours a few mornings a week; others need overnight cover from the start.
How quickly can care begin after the consultation?
Often within days, once we have agreed on the care plan and matched a caregiver to your loved one’s routine. If your need is urgent, tell us when you call, and we will work with your timing.
What if my parent refuses help from a caregiver?
This is common, and we take it slowly. We usually begin with short visits and companionship so your parent can get to know one person without pressure, then build from there as they feel more at ease.
Will the same caregiver come each time?
We aim for continuity and match your loved one with a small, consistent team so they see familiar faces. If someone is away, another team member who already knows the routine steps in.
How are families kept updated?
We update you after each visit on appetite, mood, sleep and memory, and if something needs your attention sooner, we call you directly.
